MIDI-input and output, two digital optical jacks, a pair of coaxial connectors, 6.3 mm microphone and headphone jacks and three pairs of analogue RCA-connectors for independent audio sources are detached on the front panel of the module jack and microphone have their own gain level controls. Jack and microphone have their own level gain controls above the headphones jacks. There is also an indicator of the signal peak notifying of overload. Three additional LEDs, located near the optical, coaxial and analogue jacks are included for the appropriate choice of their control panel.

Sound card TerraTec DMX 6fire could be considered as a counterbalance (or some kind of equivalent) card to Creative Audigy Platinum with the switching module Live! Drive, but according to the playback and recording parameters as well as in terms of support for multicustomer functions, DMX 6fire overtops Audigy. The card (yet?) does not support EAX 3.0, and therefore does not purport to be a choice of gamer fan. Moreover, such a function, as infrared port and wireless remote control for Audigy certainly tip the scales an ordinary user in favour of choosing a card from Creative. One can be said for sure: we have a worthy alternative in the form of DMX 6fire.
